How to decororate your divorce party

Your divorce party should be a place of fun,drink and dance. A festive and light hearted occasion if you like. However, you might be in luck as several companies make decorations for such an event. If you have already chosen your theme, setting them up is where most of the work will be.

Take an afternoon off as you will need it to shop around for items for your party. If you don't have the time to go out shopping, there are alot of suppliers that you can find on the internet. Don't forget items such as balloons, dart boards (wink), poppers and of course the drinks. Ok back to the decrations. Firstly, your budget should be a factor in determining how simple or grand your decorations will be. You need to first have a plan in your mind as to how the general layout the party area. This is very important as one thing that a party needs is space.

The backdrop, balloons, and banners should come together to set your desired theme. At the entrance of the party (if its at your home the doorway), you should try to make this area set the tone. If its going to be sexy, then this area should reflect this.

The music will also help to set the mood so make sure you prepare you it before hand. Whether is from your ipod or a CD you prepared, it is important you have enough music to play through out the night. This means spending extra time selecting the music you want and you feel your guest will enjoy. Try not to include love music or songs that will bring back sad memories as time of enjoyment, freedom and celebrating your new found happines.
